He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Penny" Lucas and Myrtle Lucas; his wife Mildred Lorene Lucas; and his siblings, Archie, Emmett, Oscar, Herbert, Wayne, Gladys, Pearl, Maude, Mary Alice, Anna May and Hazel.
He is survived by: his grandson Jack Caldwell; his daughter Deborah Lucas of Wisconsin; and his sister Josephine Mathes of Queen City, Missouri.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and a multitude of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Novinger Cemetery.
