He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlin Goins and Ruth Goins (Patton); his sister Sharron Meyer; and his brothers-in-law, Karl Karstensen and Wayne Wytcherley Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Debby Wytcherley; his son Todd; his daughter-in-law Jill Goins of Germantown Hills, IL; his daughters, Kimberli (Bob Magnussin) and Kelli (Drew Moreton); his stepdaughter Heather Parnham Sayers (Darin) of Pekin, IL; and his siblings-in-law, David Wytcherley and Beverly Karstensen. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great grandson due this May; five step grandchildren.
