He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Klokkenga and Mary Elizabeth Klokkenga (Kaesebier); his wife Agnes Luken; his daughter-in-law Sue Klokkenga; and his siblings, William, Arthur, Walter, Marion, Frances, Anna, Pearl and Mary.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Darla Crane (Mike), Carla Blount (Brian), Chandra Klokkenga (Dave) and Melissa Beck (Jeff); his sister-in-law Earna Jane Post; and also Earlene Knoche. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
