He was predeceased by: his parents, L. T. Hopper and Cora Hopper (Anderson); his daughters, Teresa and Julia; and his sister Joann Heard.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Hopper; his children, Daniel Hopper (Carol) of Norwood and Deana Gould (Roger) of Mountain Grove; his brother Van Hopper of Raymore; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Hopper (Tiffany) of Mansfield, Jessica Maners (Clyde) of Mountain Grove, Levi Hopper (Sara) of Norwood and Chelsea Allen (Keith) of Norwood. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
