She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Leon and Virginia Kaye Swartz Shearrer. She is survived by: her sisters, Jennifer Eakin (Ryan) and Rebecca Knauf (W. G. Wilson); her children, Jasmine Kingcannon, Antowine Lamb, Little River and Scott Blackmon; her significant other Charleeka Thigpen; her friend Keke Blackmon; and her granddaughter Kasydi Blackmon. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews; one great nephew.
