She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harold and Sadie Elizabeth Burdette (Hayes). She is survived by: her children, William Burdette, Elizabeth Childers, Lisa Schoonover, Jaqueline Hammon and Lynn Akers; and her siblings, Kevin Burdette and Barbara Clagg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
