It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verla Abbott of Nixa, Missouri, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna May (Dunihoo) and Luther Thompson; her pet Rae Rae; her former husband P. Thompson, Jr. (Merlin D. Abbott); her daughter Vickie Lynn Regehr; and her grandsons, Todd Allen Regerh and Jared Christopher Keasling.
She is survived by: her husband Merlin Abbott; her pets, Gidgett and Bella; and her children, Connie Hanna (Randy), Kathy Thompson (Debi), Valerie Smith (Paul), Joanne King (Bill), Angela Dye (Scott) and Matt Abbott (Willow). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
