With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Wayne Mawhiney of Nixa, Missouri, born in Preston, Missouri, who passed away on June 23, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Faye and Everett Lee Mawhiney; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Katy; his great grandchild Riley; and his siblings, Junior, Donald and Irene.

He is survived by: his wife Lela Mawhiney (Williams); his children, Tammy, Jeff, Devonna and Randy; his grandchildren, Danielle, Michael, Taylor, Lance, Austin, Jansyn, Connor, Latisha, Matt and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Shelby, Aiden, Bennet, Remington, Baylor, Gabe, Olive, Carsyn, Nolan, Lela and Kolbi; and his great great grandchild Jayda.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to McConnell Bledsoe Cemetery.
