He was predeceased by: his parents, John McVey and Anne McVey (Michelzoebelein); and his son-in-law Nathan Clifton. He is survived by: his wife Renate McVey; his children, Timothy McVey (Pete Johnson), Michelle Clifton and Alex McVey (Addison); his granddaughter Elise Clifton; his great grandchild Augustus Woods; and his brothers, Timothy McVey (Kaye) and Robert McVey (Carol). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and his beloved cats and dogs.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
