He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Edward and Fannie Marie Walters Brotherton; his brothers, Larry Brotherton and Wally Brotherton; and his stepchildren, Sharon Howlett Carr and Matthew Howlett.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Howlett Brotherton (Wallis); his children, Paul Arthur Brotherton, Jr. (Leslie) of Oxford, Bryan Edward Brotherton (Jenny) of Springfield and Dee Anna Klein (Jeff) of Camdenton; his stepchildren, Sandra Kay Howlett of Moline, IL, Mark C. Howlett of Richland and David T. Howlett of Richland; his sister Edna June Adamson of Crocker; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Lowery (Carl) of Osage Beach and J. M. Wallis (Geneva) of Richland. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
