“If I’m correct, Mary and I were in school at Roscoe Elementary School in Sun Valley California. If I am wrong, I apologize. But I want to say that the Mary I knew was a wonderful, cheerful, and very intelligent young lady. Her families’ need to move on in our fifth/sixth grade was a shock to me. I remember that they stopped at our house so she could say goodbye to me. I hope that was true, and that the hug and big smile from her was her sharing the wonderful person that she was.”
