He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Melvin and Violet Lee Wood. He is survived by: his children, Jan Marti (Tom) and Larry Wood (Melony); his stepson Carl Cantrell (Doreen); and his grandchildren, Haley and Jacob Cantrell. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Leonard's name to the Dementia Society of America.
