She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul C. Skiles and Elma E. Skiles (Gourley); her siblings, Sterling Brooks, Kenneth Brooks, Pauline Garbee, June Norman, Edna Newsome and Francis Skiles (Frank); her former husband Ed Holt; and her stepson Rick Holt.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Ann Kays and Christopher Sean Kays (Daina); her granddaughter Chanelle Duncan; her stepdaughter Veneta Mitchell (Dean); her stepgranddaughter Amanda King; and her stepgreat-grandson Dylan King. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
