He was predeceased by: his parents, James Strickland and Ivess Strickland (Davis); and his siblings, Quinton Strickland, Joyce Voncile Butler, Margenia Weed and Nellene McCrae.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Strickland (Philen); his daughters, Twila Howland (John), Jennifer Arbogast (Joey) and Becky Strickland; his brother Hollis Strickland (Donna); his grandchildren, Caleb Crockett (Kytzia), Jason Howland, Landry Howland, Allie Arbogast, Hannah Ray and Maddie Ray; and his great grandchild Novalee Funez-Crockett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home and Crematory - Nixa (109 N Truman Blvd, Nixa, MO 65714). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church.
