She was predeceased by: her parents, Manting Claus and Edith Griggs (Biggs); her former husband William Edward Pate; her husband Gary Shelton; her daughter Vickie; her son-in-law Jimmy Patterson; her granddaughter Mindy Patterson Robertson; and her great grandchild Travis Alexander Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Pate of Portland and Kelli Pate of Nixa; her grandchildren, Ellen Marie Pate, Jennifer Patterson, Dustin Pate and Brandon Pate; her great grandchild Jessica Dunckle; and her great great grandchild Kadence Dunckle.
