He was predeceased by: his parents, George Malicoat and Jewell Malicoat (Smith); his wife Vivian; and his son-in-law Everett Bussard. He is survived by: his children, James A. Mailcoat, Paula Bussard, Eric Malicoat (Shelly) and Paul Malicoat (Renea); his grandchildren, Cory, Halee, Erin, Erica, Brittany, Misty, Kendra and Ashley; his great grandchildren, Cruz, Shaylyn, Alana, Landon, Hannah, Kaden, Isaiah, Gabe, Zachary and Tyler; his great great grandchildren, Jett and Tucker; and his siblings, Loretta, Anna and Elmer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
