He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Dain and Helen Marie Gibson (Hannah); his sister Janet Jackson (Kenny) of Rogersville; his children, Teresa Keller (Raymond) of Fair Grove, Doug Gibson (Kerri) of Nixa, Amy Chamberlain (Dustin) of Crane and Emily Langston (Rich) of Nixa; and his grandchildren, Abigail Mirree, Lonna Taber, Holly Skinner (Gibson), Austin, Hailey, Mylee Chamberlain, Asher, Owen, Oliver and Avery Langston. He was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Hoot's life may be made to Selmore Cemetery or the AA Central Office of Springfield.
