It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen M. Fortner of Nixa, Missouri, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnice Inman and Velma Inman; and her siblings, Bobby Inman and Juanita Goodman. She is survived by: her husband Larry Fortner; her grandchildren, Ciara, Coty Shupp, Dakota, Danielle Fortner, Leslie, Larry Keithley, Jayme and Josh Wisdom; and her brother Joe Inman (Othena) of Sparta. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, 1328 W. Sunshine, Springfield, MO 65807.
