He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Reed Sr. and Harold Reed Sr.; his parents-in-law, Murrell and Gilma Pilcher; his daughter LeAnn; his son-in-law Robert Watson; his grandson-in-law Aaron Jones; his brothers, Bill Kelso and Cecil Reed; his sister-in-law Patty Reed; and his grandmothers, Mae Vantellman and Jessie Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Francis Allison (Pilcher); his children, Kevin Reed (Teresa) of Adylett, NC and Lisa Allison (Davin); his grandchildren, Mandy Jones, Matt Bennett (Samie), Brandon Jennings (Destiny), Cody Janes (Bailey), Nick Allison, Bentley Matthews (Tyler), Lamar and Heather Cartwright (Cody Sears) of Manteo, NC; and his siblings, Ron Reed (Phyllis), Susan Maples (Chris) and Debi McKinley (Kenny). He is also survived by 19 Great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
