He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Paul Calhoun and Mamie Cyral Calhoun (Henninger); his former wife Carol June Paisley; and his sisters, Louise Jimerson and Joanne Meek.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Trantham Schuemann of Nixa, Missouri; and his children, Susan Jeffries (Ryne) of Council Bluffs, IA and James Calhoun (Deborah) of Ozark. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
