He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Brown and Claris Brown (Harp); his former wife Delilah O'Connor (Buchholz); his wife Francis Hannen (Delilah); and his sisters, Betty Lou and Helen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ruby Haskell (Jerry), Dale of California and Leon of California; his sons, Wesley (Nadine) and Ricky (Rusty); his grandchildren, Michael Brown, Eric, Arlene Wilson, Danielle and Christine; and his brother-in-law J. E. Buchholz (Ann). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
