With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gale Wayne Hunt of Nixa, Missouri, born in West Plains, Missouri, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Hunt and Ola Mae Hunt (Vaughan); and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his wife Carol Welch; his children, Lori and Joe; his siblings, Beth (John), Jerry (Marilyn), Denny (Patty) and Rick (Janet); and his sister-in-law Neva Hunt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Honor Flight of the Ozarks.
