He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur S. Howard and Elsie M. Howard (Lee); his wife Jackie Smith; and his brothers, John, Fred and Huston Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Rocky Howard (Dawn) of Springfield, Kevin Howard (Gay) of Nixa, Danny Smith (Amanda) of Nixa, Lonnie Howard of West Plains, Delwayne "Dell" Howard (Vicky) of Willard, Deana Taylor (James) of Sedalia and Michelle Smith of Ozark. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
