We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2022, at the age of 91, Bertie Mae Barber of Nixa, Missouri, born in Springfield, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover McDaniel and Katie Peters McDaniel; and her siblings, Curtis McDaniel, Leonard McDaniel, JB McDaniel, Jewel McDaniel, Junior McDaniel, Paul McDaniel, Daisy Tate and Wilda Strain.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby Gene Barber of Nixa; her daughters, Kathryn Charron and Brenda Barber; her children-in-law, Steven Cochran (Terry Barber) and Linda Walter Barber; her grandchildren, David Charron (Rachel Anderson Charron), Loren Babits (Benjamin Breed), Hannah Barber (Levi Runyon), Tori McIntosh (Chase McIntosh) and Austin Barber; and her great grandchildren, Addison May Charron and Nash Hardy Runyon. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Springfield Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
