It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Calhoun of Nixa, Missouri, born in Galena, Missouri, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer "Dutch" Barnhart and Nanalea Barnhart; her husband Woody Calhoun; her brothers, William Barnhart and Neal Barnhart; and her son-in-law Kevin Martin.

She is survived by: her children, Gary (Teresa), Janet Martin and Connie Peebles (Quintin); her siblings, Joe Barnhart (Wanda), Nancy Barnhart and Pam Mullins (Aurora); and her grandchildren, Nicole Burks (Dustin), Drew Martin (Gabby), Brianne Yancey (Wes), Garrett Calhoun (Hollie) and Marrissa Peebles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial donations in Ann's name may be made to the Kevin "Cub" Martin Scholorship Fund through Nixa High School.
