He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Strand and Ruth Strand; his wife Anita C. Bray Strand; and his stepson Ronald Earl. He is survived by: his children, Reverend Tyler Strand of Albuquerque, NM, Lauren Strand-Buckley of Chicago, IL, Mark Strand (Meg) of LaGrange, IL and Ruth Brienton of Apple Valley, MN; and his stepchildren, David Earl of Phoenix, AZ, Susan Earl (Keith Wappel) of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Phillip Earl (Kerry) of O'Fallon, MO and Carol Cayer (James) of Battlefield, MO. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many furry friends; other relatives and friends.
