He was predeceased by: his daughter Adyson Renee Bruce; his grandparents, William and Anna Mattingly; and his aunt Ronetta Eichhorn. He is survived by: his parents, Ronnie Jay and Jane Bruce (Mattingly); his sister Janie Bruce-Johnston; his grandmother Rita Coburn; his nephew Ryan Bruce; his nieces, Katie Prater (Buck) and Jessica Parker (James); his great-niece Amelia Parker; and his pet Lilly.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lebanon Human Society in care of the funeral home.
