It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Earl Tipton of Newtown, Missouri, born in Kirksville, Missouri, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orland L. Tipton and Fay Tipton (Yardley); and his brother Harold Tipton. He is survived by: his sons, James Douglas and Michael Scott; his wife Sue Putnam; his children, Doug Tipton (Kim) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Scott Tipton (Keri) of Columbia, Missouri and Terri Sue Arias (Doug Rinehart) of Bethany, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Chase Dekrell, Alexis Fritz, Isabella Arias, Garrett Tipton, Kaylie Fischer, Brandon Coin and Aden Tipton; his great grandchildren, Addison Tipton, Hadley Tipton, Cole Tipton, Bella McGrew-Staggs, Klay Fischer, Quinn Fischer, Ashlyn Coin and Tyrone Coin; his nephew Eddie Tipton (Judi); his niece Debbie Alexander (Darwin); and also Chris Houston.
