It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Edward Lazzara of New Melle, Missouri, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Philip Lazzara; his brother Phiip Lazzara; and his son Michael Dunlap. He is survived by: his wife Carla; his children, Joseph M. Lazzara, Natalie Light (Chris), Steven Lazzara, Susan Collins (Sean), Jennifer Walters (Jerrod) and Bryan Dunlap; and his grandchildren, Henry, Cecilia and Nolan Light.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Aphasia Institute would be appreciated.
