It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Kaye Bissel of New Madrid, Missouri, born in East Prairie, Missouri, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Georgia Halford. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Burton of New Madrid, Sherry (Jonathan Givens), Crystal (Greg Thomas), Steve, Taletha Burton of Milan, Joseph Burton of Wappapello, James "Bubba" Bissel of New Madrid and Anthony Bissel of Wardell; her siblings, Judy (Pat Vaughn), Robert Burton of Sikeston, Danny O'Guin of Lexington, TN., Eddie O'Guin of New Madrid, Jimmy and Pocket Burton of New Madrid; and her great grandchildren, James Bissel of New Madrid, Danny and Diana O'Guin. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
