With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Susan Robbins of New Madrid, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 21, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Van H Sharp, Jr. and Rebecca Hughes Sharp of New Madrid. She is survived by: her husband Jerome D Robbins; her siblings, Cindy Amick (Rand) of New Madrid, Jennifer Thomure (Dave) of East Prairie, MO and Harry Sharp (Lisa) of Marian, IL.; her children, Vanessa Young (Anthony) of New Madrid, Valerie Lawrence (Ryan) of New Madrid, David Robbins (Danielle Stokes) of Sikeston, MO, Victoria Akins (Drew) of New Madrid and Madeleine Sproles (Dexter) of Millington, TN; and her grandchildren, Cullen Pearson, Austin, Morgan, Van, Vivienne, Ghent, Madeleine, John Anthony and Caroline Young. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Richards Funeral Home (436 Main St, New Madrid, MO 63869). A rosary was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (605 Davis St, New Madrid, MO 63869).
