It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Edward Barnwell of New Madrid, Missouri, who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Barnwell and Dorothy Deevers Barnwell of New Madrid; his wife Anna Kathryn Boyer; his daughter Jamie Phillips (Kent) of Cape Girardeau; his sister Anna Pounds (David) of New Madrid; his cousin Jim Mills (Becky Sue) of New Madrid; his nieces, Carrie Romines (Matt) of Jonesboro, Ark and Elizabeth Hodges (Wesley) of New Madrid; his great-nieces, Lillian Romines and Emily Katherine Hodges; and his great-nephew Colten Romines.
Additional time has been allocated to the visitation to accommodate social distancing due to COVID-19.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eagle Closet at New Madrid County Central by dropping off backpacks, filled with clothes, school supplies or non-perishable food to Richards Funeral Home or mailing monetary donations to New Madrid County Central District Office, 310 US Hwy 61, New Madrid, MO 63869.
