She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Denny and Marjorie Bang Denny; her former husband John L. Wilkerson; her spouse J. C. Tate; and her brothers, Mike and Robert Denny.
She is survived by: her daughter JohnieFaye Jennings of New Madrid; and her sisters, June Fletcher of Salem and Jeanette Hancock of Rueter. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
