She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie "Baby Ray" Gilmore and Bernice Scott Gilmore; her grandmother Essie Scott; and her parents-in-law, Alfarmia J. Hampton, Sr. and Erma Jean Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Alfarmia J. Hampton, Jr.; her children, LaRicka Gilmore of Lilbourn, Arteemus Davis (Deidra) of Raymore and Jeutaun Buck (Leon) of Maryland Heights; and her siblings, Victor Gilmore of New Madrid, Elbert Johnson (Christine) of Elkhart, Dericka Burges (Janella) of St. Louis, Sandra Scott, Trina Freeman (Warren) of New Madrid, Sukena Gilmore of Pensacola, Sherry Stevenson Daniels (James) and Melba Stevenson Collins (Stanley) of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
