He was predeceased by: his parents, Edker Hartwell and Jewell Scott Hartwell; his wife Mildred Halford; and his son Michael Harwell. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Paula (Rick Neal) of New Madrid and Neal (Sheila Halford) of Risco. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
