We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2024, at the age of 81, Edna Carol Bixler (New Madrid, Missouri), born in Columbia, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Johnson and Marcella Rowden Johnson; her siblings, Polly Mann, Fred Rowden, Richard Rowden, Donnie Wrather, Andy Johnson and Tommy Kimball; and her children, Jack David Bixler and Angie Bisans.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Bixler; her sons, Michael Bixler (Jody), Joe Bixler (Sheila), Greg Bixler (Beth) and Jim Bixler (Timesha); her son-in-law Dennis Bisans; and her brothers, John Smith (Connie) and John Kimball (Cyndi). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richards Funeral Home Inc. (436 Main St, New Madrid, MO 63869). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (605 Davis St, New Madrid, MO 63869).
