We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2023, at the age of 88, Charlene Dyson of New Madrid, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Glispie and Hazel Blake Glispie; and her siblings, Helen, Mary (May), Reginald, Geraldine, Bobby and Billy.
She is survived by: her aunt Odessa; her husband Lonnie Elzy; her former husband Odell Dyson; her children, Gladys Watson, Lonnie Elzy (Valencia), Valerie Brown (Danny) and James Elzy; and her grandchildren, Shonn, Diamone, Sheena, Monika, Shantay, JaNina, Lamar, Danielle, JaNiece, Jamea and Courtney. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
