Cecil Lee Hicks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecil Lee Hicks of New Madrid, Missouri, born in Puxico, Missouri, who passed away on February 4, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlie Lee and Laura V. Chilton Hicks; his former wife Betty Jane DeFever; his wife Mary Sue Wells; and his sisters, Geralene Hartline, Pansy Franklin and Patsy Hastings.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Hicks (Lynn) of Edina, Paul Hicks (Julie) of Perryville, MO and Darrell Hicks (Jennifer) of Greenville, MO; his stepson Eric Moore of Gates, TN; and his sisters, Rose Moore (Carol) of Kennett, MO and Rita Martin (Ed) of Poplar Bluff, MO. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
