It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Sims (New Madrid, Missouri), born in Osceola, Arkansas, who passed away on July 19, 2019, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tommy Sims and Ruth Dorsey; his siblings, Lee Boyd Jackson, Evonne Sims and Cassandra Johnson; his children, LaKenya Pledger of St. Louis, MO, Anthony Pledger of Miami, YasMika Hughes of Austin, TX, Kiara Jones of St. Louis, MO and Trevon Sims of Lilbourn, MO; his granddaughters, Janavia Pledger and JaKaylen Pledger of St. Louis, MO.; and his siblings, George Dorsey Jr. of Bloomington, IL, Charles Dorsey of Indiana, Harvey Dorsey of Bloomington, IL, Dennis Dorsey of Kansas City, MO and Gloria Dorsey of Tunica, MS.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
