He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Sullenger; his children, Sheila "Penny" Smith and Henry "Butch" Sullenger; his sisters, Geraldine Sullenger and Betty Cheatham; and his nieces, Donna Hedge and Nena Hornburg.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina Sullenger (Steve Bryson) of St. Louis; and his siblings, Jean Hornburg of Moscow Mills and Eugene (Rosanne Sullenger) of Godfrey, IL.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
