She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Davis and Dora Lee Mitchell Gibbs; her daughter Rochella Denise Davis; and her siblings, Jesse Davis, Robert Taylor, Mary Kitchens, Castella Davis, Dora Gibbs and Louretha Bradberry.
She is survived by: her sons, Shepel Davis (Shavon) of Columbia, Michael Brown (Sharon) of Howardville, Timothy Davis (Cynthia) of Sikeston and Jerry Davis of New Madrid; her siblings, Sylvester Davis (Elnora), William Davis of Greenville, John Davis (Janice) of Chicago and Virgie Davis of Mt. Vernon; and her sister-in-law Lois Davis of Greenville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
