She was predeceased by: her father Hurshal Waters; her brother William Waters; and her son Matthew Shaffer. She is survived by: her mother Juanita Lawver Waters of Aurora, Colorado; her husband William W. Shaffer; her son Anthony Shaffer (Lacey) of New London; her sisters, Jackie Wolfgang (Tom) of Hershey and Nikki Powell (Reno); and her grandchildren, MaRyah Shaffer, Alyce Bacon and Carter Pruett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
