He is survived by: his father Robert Ray; his close friend Patti O'Brien of New London, MO; his children, Kacey Simmons (Kenadie) of New London and Kristeen Rivera (Jay) of Arizona; his siblings, Randy Ray Simmons of Anamosa, IA, Daniel Oren Simmons (Tammy) of Wayland, IA and Kandee Simmons of Anamosa, IA; and his grandchildren, Joellah Simmons and Anastasia Rivera. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
