With solemn reverence, we commemorate Michael D. McConnell of New London, Missouri, whose life came to an end on December 23, 2024 at the age of 67, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Georglyn Fay Smith Bird; his grandparents, George and Catherine Smith; and his brother Victor McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Protsman McConnell; his children, David McConnell (Kathy) of Hannibal, MO, Seth McConnell (Lindsay) of Spring Hill, KS and Dana Tipton (Adam) of Hannibal, MO.; his sister Christina Bertrand of Idaho; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Madison, Abel, Cooper and Eden. He is also survived by His brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:30 AM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home, Inc. (302 S 5th St, Hannibal, MO 63401). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Family Catholic Church or to Cure HHT.
