He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Miller and Esther Raney Miller; his wife Barbara Frese; and his siblings, Edgar, Lloyd, Ralph, Virgil, John, Raymond "Junior", Darrel Wayne, Esther Sue and Mary Lee.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Turek of New London, MO.; his son Jared P. Miller (Wanda Smith) of Eolia, MO; his brother Melvin Miller of Troy, MO; his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Rodhouse, Tom Frese of Quincy, Elsie Miller of Monroe City, Shirley Miller of Redondo Beach, CA, Frances Miller of Southgate Michigan, Kay Maas of Quincy, IL and Joan Riggs of Quincy, IL; and his brother Nursery. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
