It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Morrison Nye of New London, Missouri, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on September 28, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Benjamin Morrison and Isabell Stickhost Morrison; her husband James O. Nye; her son Jamie Lee Nye; and her sister Sheila M. Foster.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michele A. Johnson (Mickey Chatham) of Toccoa and Heidi A. Vassar (Kevin) of Hartwell; and her sister Dorothy M. Kubista of Cambridge, MD. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three nieces; a nephew; six great nieces; four great nephews; and two great-great nephews.
