He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Johnson and Georgia Mae Sprague Tannehill; his stepfather Gary Tannehill; his brother Michael Johnson; and his father-in-law Raymond Tomblinson.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa, Brenda, Ricky and Mary; and his siblings, Chester Johnson and Loretta Runyon. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
