It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary A. Scholes Sr. of New London, Missouri, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Scholes Sr. and Margie Scholes (Melvin); and his sister Debbie Catlett. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Miller; his children, Gary Scholes, Jr. (Jennifer) of Hannibal, MO, Becky Scholes of Hannibal, MO and John Golian (Mary Culp) of New London, MO; his stepson Jamie Franklin of Quincy, IL; his siblings, Gene Scholes Jr. (Kathy) and Joyce Scholes (Randy); his brother-in-law Larry Catlett; and his grandchildren, Kaleb Fritch, John Fritch, James Fritch, Tanner Scholes, Trevor Scholes, Claeton Culp, Carter Howe, Tyler Franklin, Matthew Franklin and James Franklin, Jr.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Everyone attending the visitation and service are required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
