It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Perkins (New London, Missouri), born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on January 30, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stephenson and Beatrice Davis Stephenson; and her siblings, John Earl Stephenson, Robert Mitchell and Addie B. Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Harry J. Perkins; her children, Robert Wayne Stevenson of New London, MO, Jackie Claxton of New London, MO, Kathleen Claxton of Columbia, MO and Steven Perkins (Michelle) of Bolingbrook; her siblings, Edward Davis of Jefferson City, MO, Curtis Davis (Yolanda) of Corpus Christi, Bobbie Hall of Lima, OH and Jewel Holt of Fulton, MO; her sister-in-law Fannie Griffin; her grandchildren, Anthony, Mirisa, Tiffany, Tanika, Teneil, Grant and Elissa; and her close friends, Paula Stevenson and Toda Burton. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, 2 great-great children.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Alzheimer's Association.
