He is survived by: his daughters, Deloris Smith (Michael) of New Haven and Donna Carrick of New Haven; his siblings, Fred Carrick of Cherryville, Margaret Phillpott of Forsythe and Darlene Berns of Springfield; his grandchildren, Dawn Smith of Union, Christopher Smith of New Haven and Jennifer Canania (Travis) of New Haven; and his great grandchildren, Jasmine Canania of New Haven, Brandon Canania of New Haven and Brianna Canania of New Haven. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
